This site exists to share kindness in Ethan's memory. We collect as little as we can.
When you share a story
We keep the story you write and the first name you choose to show (or "Anonymous"). Stories are text only; there's no way to upload photos. Stories are read by Ethan's family before they appear on the wall.
To stop spam, we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet address for a short time. It can't be turned back into the address.
Kids: if you're under 13, please share with a parent or guardian helping you. The form asks you to confirm this. Use your first name only, and don't include last names, schools, or addresses.
Counting visits
We count visits with a simple counter that runs on this site. It uses no cookies, doesn't store your internet address or anything about your device, and isn't shared with any other company. It only keeps daily totals, like "40 visits on Monday, mostly from phones" or "3 people clicked Read his story".
Removing something
If you'd like a story you shared taken down, email family@objectalliance.org and tell us roughly what it said and when you shared it. We'll remove it.
